Computer won’t turn on! help!?

  • Pug it back in.

  • seems to me tht ur on it…

  • then how did u post this message:P

  • Sounds like a power supply problem. You need the help of a qualified repair person.

  • well then hoe are you on yahoo answers???

hun try to do the same thing again, it might work this time.

  • How are you able to ask us a question if it’s off?

I would give it a few minutes.. How old is your computer? If it’s fairly old I would give it more time to start up.

  • You’re using the computer now ,silly…

    or perhaps another computer

anyway, that happened to me a few months back and I had to get the whole thing repaired running me 300 bucks. The fan broke, it over heated, and the motherboard got fried.

I’m guessing since it wouldn’t shut off you have the same issue I had.

  • When you plugged in your pc I am assuming you hit the power button–if not, turn it on with the power button.

If that doesn’t work you may need to verify that the power cord connects to both the pc and the wall socket.

If the power button does not work you may need to try a different power outlet just to ensure the outlet is not dead.

If all of the above fails you may need to have your pc checked out internally for lose cords or a dead power supply.
