Girls - do you, as a rule, get hungrier or crave more food when you are on your period?

  1. A couple of days before my period I could eat everything in sight, especially sweets and salty stuff. I think our body’s only burn more calories because we are walking to the fridge every two minutes. :)
  2. I do - I think your body needs about 500 extra calories during your period (which isnt very much) but I am always a lot hungrier!
  3. Yes, I do eat more when I am on my period. Especially before I start!!! Hate it!!!
  4. Definitely. I have heard that as a general rule you burn more calories at that ‘time’. I think it must be true as I always feel like I’m burning up!

    And yes - I eat almost everything in sight. If it moves - it’s done for!

  6. personally no. But women I know say they do. Eat more protein.
  7. yes i do eat more. i can eat everything going starting a week before and during it.
  8. Yes unfortunately I eat more around that time of the month.
  9. Most us women are like that…and I think we put on a few pounds too.
