What is the best way you’ve found to get organized?
Something we all struggle with, especially if we have accumulated a lot of possessions. The best tip I have ever heard is this: Everything needs a “home”. Short and sweet, every item we own should have a home or a place that that item goes. If we have items that have no home, we either have too much, or an utter lack of storage capacity. Stacking works poorly. As we organize by investing in containers, and storage organizers we end up with 4 types of items. Keep,Sell,Give Away and Throw Away. Often the only difference between these items is TIME! 3 years from now, the item we kept, may get thrown away with the only difference being time. Be strong and start in a corner or closet and be remorseless

Throw away what you haven’t used in the past 6 months.
Excluding clothing .
But if there are articles of clothing you haven’t worn because of
too small/ big
or you haven’t worn in a long time then put in a sale or give away
Or put for yard/garage sale
Sort out what you use often
Sort out what you use sometimes
Go according to what each item is
Put them in their own place
Keep them in order by always putting them back where you found

If you’re talking about organizing your home then I would suggest you start one room at a time. One closet at a time until it is completely organized. Donate anything you haven’t used in over a year. Constantly get rid of things that accumulate.
